Welcome to Sherpa's! We are the local source for fresh, authentic, high quality Nepalese, Indian, and Tibetan food in Boulder, Colorado. All of our meals are from authentic recipes and made to order including fresh breads, sauces, and desserts! Sherpa's features an authentic, heart-healthy, low -fat, charcoal fired, Tandoor clay oven. At Sherpa’s, the quality of the food is the supreme priority. Sherpa’s is the only restaurant in town with staff full of Sherpas, people from the Mt. Everest region, including our Chef, Jangbu Sherpa, who summited Mt. Everest 10 times without supplemental oxygen!
The owner, Pemba Sherpa grew up in the Everest region of Nepal. He has been active his whole life; he ran a 5k in 15 minutes:17 seconds, ran up and down Mount Kilimanjaro in one day, competed in world-class ice climbing in Ouray, Colorado, and have guided 42 trips to the Himalayas in the past 20 years. He believes it’s very important to eat the right food in order to excel in those activities. His goal is not only to provide the best dining experience at Sherpa’s, but also provide heart-healthy, quality foods in every meal.
We are the only Nepalese, Indian, and Tibetan restaurant that doesn’t serve via buffet in Colorado. We believe in making each meal to order so the food not only tastes best when served hot and fresh, but each patron enjoys a high quality meal specially prepared for them!
